Od otroških let me zanimajo podobe. Eden zgodnjih spominov je, ko so me naučili narisati preprostega smeškota. Kmalu sem ugotovila, kako lahko črtice in pikice narišejo emocije.
Babica je bila šivilja. Pri njej sem občudovala barvite materiale, oboževala sem lepa oblačila, tam pa sem se srečala tudi z modnimi časopisi, ki so me prevzeli.
Med študijem modnega oblikovanja so me zanimali širši koncepti, ne le kolekcija oblačil. Zanimala me je zgodba, ki stoji zadaj. Zanimal me je kontekst. Hkrati pa sem se veliko posvečala risanju portretov in karikatur, kjer sem tudi iskala nekaj več, tisto, kar nosi človek v sebi. Človek kot nekaj edinstvenega — z vsem, kar ga obdaja in definira.
Vse to me zanima še danes. Zgodbe lovim s fotoaparatom.

I’ve been drawn to images since I was a child. One of my earliest memories is being taught to draw a simple smiley face. Soon I realised how a few lines and dots can carry emotion.
My grandmother was a seamstress. At her place I discovered colourful fabrics, beautiful garments, and the fashion magazines that took me in completely.
During my studies in fashion design, I was drawn to wider concepts, not just the collections themselves. I wanted to understand the story behind, the context. At the same time I spent a lot of time drawing portraits and caricatures, searching for something more — what a person carries inside. Human as something unique — with everything that surrounds and defines them.
All of this still interests me today. I catch stories with a camera.
